The HCB Ticino Rockets have taken quite some time to decide who will coach their team in the 2020-21 season. Éric Landry will now succeed Alex Reinhard who would have liked to stay with the team, as he told the Journal du Jura back in May.
Landry has an extensive coaching record in the QMJHL, as he was part of the coaching staff of Gatineau Olympiques for the past eight seasons, three of which he served as a head coach. His assistant coach, Mike McNamara, can look back on almost 40 years of coaching experience. The 71-year-old last worked with the U17 team of EHC Biel.
