The 20-year-old Swedish forward will be part of the Academy's roster for the upcoming season.

EVZ Academy added a Swedish forward to their roster.

The winger played most of his junior career thus far for the Swedish MODO Hockey Organization. Last season he became captain of their J20 SuperElit squad and played 40 games for them. He recorded 20 goals and 13 assists for 33 points.

Also in the last season, Gradin got the call up to Allsvenskan, the second-highest Swedish hockey league. He played five games, but couldn't score a point.

Along with the hiring of Gradin, EVZ Academy also announced some changes to their preseason-schedule. Their first game of the season against HC La Chaux-de-Fonds had to be canceled, while their internal matchup against EV Zug was moved from August 14th to 16th. The game against SC Langenthal on September 10th was moved to 8th.
