As explained by Sébastien Reuille, team manager of the HCB Ticino Rockets, to the Corriere del Ticino, an undisclosed player did not feel well on Wednesday, after regularly practicing with the team the day before. Because of that, the player isolated himself and got tested, resulting now to have contracted Covid-19.
It will be now up to the Cantonal Doctor of Ticino to test other players and evaluate if a quarantine will be necessary for some of them. The Rockets will begin their season in two weeks, on October 2.
