HC Ambrì-Piotta wants to guarantee a future to the HCB Ticino Rockets
Swisshockeynews.ch

For the near future, it is not yet clear if the HCB Ticino Rockets will be able to participate in the Swiss League championship due to the restructuring project involving the second-highest league of Swiss hockey (you can read about it here).

HC Ambrì-Piotta intends to react "to the maneuvers aimed at excluding the Rockets in the future" and therefore requested an extraordinary meeting. The key points to be discussed are the following:

  • A long-term commitment (at least three years) of the three National League clubs involved (HC Ambrì-Piotta, HC Lugano, HC Davos) in the project,
  • The willingness of the clubs to participate adequately in the financing of the necessary structures,
  • The willingness to make available, if needed, two import-players that might be necessary to maintain the place in the League and contribute to the development of young prospects.
