"I got along so well that it would be a shame not to move forward together," the 33-year-old forward says in an interview with 20 minuti, and clearly states: "My will is to continue with the Rockets." To this end, Lauper has already talked to head coach Eric Landry and team manager Sébastien Reuille, as he tells the same source.

The time ha has had with the Rockets since joining them in January was a good one for Lauper: "I had much more pleasure by playing this year with the Rockets than in the past season in Fribourg. Here I have so many responsibilities. (...) I'm very happy to have had this chance."
