According to the St. Galler Tagblatt, HC Thurgau will likely announce the acquisition of Marco Forrer next. The 24-year-old defenseman will join the team from the EVZ Academy.
Apparently, the Swiss League team has also shown interest in his brother, Sandro, but acquiring the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers player might prove to be too difficult due to financial reasons. HC Thurgau is currently also looking for a goaltender and a forward.
There are also rumblings that EHC Basel and HC Thurgau have come to an agreement regarding Silvio Schmutz. The 24-year-old defenseman already played for HCT this season on a loan basis and has another year left on his deal with the MySports League team.
