EHC Olten's team manager Marc Grieder confirms to the Oltner Tagblatt that there is mutual interest between them and Lars Leuenberger and that first talks have taken place. Grieder does, however, also state that Fredrik Söderström, who has coached the team in the past two seasons, is still a candidate.

Another possible destination for Leuenberger is EHC Visp. According to the Walliser Bote, the Lions have talked to Lars Leuenberger and Jeff Tomlinson, who has to leave the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers at the end of the season. But also Yves Sarault still has a shot to continue his work in Visp.

In Leuenberger's case, there might even be another option: EHC Kloten. As the Walliser Bote writes, also the Flughafenstädter are interested in the 46-year-old. The contract of their Swedish head coach Per Hånberg is expiring at the end of the season.
