EHC Olten has found an assistant to Lars Leuenberger.

With the hiring of Stefan Schneider, EHC Olten has completed their coaching staff for the upcoming season. Since 2014, Schneider has been the head coach of the U17 squad of SC Bern, while also working at the international level as a coach of the Swiss junior national teams.
Schneider explains his decision with the desire for bigger goals: "The switch to professional hockey and the cooperation with Lars were the decisive factors for my decision. Olten is a household name in Swiss ice hockey; working on ambitious goals motivates me a lot."
On a side note, Michael Tobler remains with the Mice for a fifth season as the goaltender coach.
