After six years with TPS Turku, Kimmo Rintanen is back with EHC Kloten next season, where he will join Jeff Tomlinson's coaching staff as assistant coach and focus on player development. The 47-year-old, who played for the Flughafenstädter for many years, already worked as their assistant coach from 2012 to 2015.

Moreover, the forward Mattia Hinterkircher will join the team in August on a tryout contract. Last season, the 26-year-old suited up for HC Thurgau. In a total of 47 games for them, he recorded 21 points (seven goals).
