Diego Schwarzenbach joins EHC Basel on a tryout.

Diego Schwarzenbach, 34, and Patrick Zubler, 29, had to leave their respective clubs last spring. Their contracts with EHC Olten and HC La Chaux-de-Fonds, respectively, have not been extended. In Schwarzenbach's case, the Oltner Tagblatt already wrote at the end of April that Basel ist the likeliest option for him.
In the past season, Schwarzenbach appeared in 48 games for EHC Olten, in which he recorded twelve points (six goals). Patrick Zubler put up one goal and five assists in 48 games for HCC.
