On April 18, Jeffrey Füglister had tested positive for methylphenidate (ritalin) and in August he was provisionally suspended as could not present a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) or medical documentation for that substance.
Swiss Olympic has now decided on a nine-month suspension and a fine of CHF 2'000.-. The decision, however, is not yet legally effective. The suspension will end on January 18, in four days. Currently, Füglister has a valid contract with EHC Kloten, his formative team, to which he returned in 2018.
