"Nothing has been decided yet," Dion Knelsen tells the Oltner Tagblatt. "I want to see how we finish the championship before I make my final decision. Now my focus is on the playoffs and my performance on the ice."
If the Swiss League team thus will be promoted to the National League, there is a chance the Knelsen might stay. However, the Canadian is also thinking about the future of his kids and the impact his career in Switzerland has on them.
"This question about the future has been with me for a few years. Of course, the thought of retirement is sad," Dion Knelsen states. "But I'm aware that I can't do this job forever." In 38 games, he has recorded 15 goals and 42 assists this season.
