To make up for the absence of Rikard Palmberg, who is still sidelined due to a concussion, HC Thurgau has acquired the services of William Pelletier. His team, the Black Wings Linz closed the regular season in 13th place, missing the qualification to the playoffs.
Pelletier, a minute right-handed center, spent parts of four seasons in the AHL before joining the team from Linz in 2020. There, he scored 21 goals and collected 44 assists in 86 games.
