Next season, Thierry Paterlini will thus start his third year in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Due to the "excellent work" the club has decided to continue the collaboration with the current staff, HCC announces.
This season, Paterlini ended the regular season with his team in third place, behind EHC Kloten and EHC Olten. The "Abeilles" won 33 of 50 games (including three overtime-victories).
In addition to Paterlini, also goalie coach Santeri Matikainen will stay on for another season. The 32-year-old Finn has joined the club in August 2021 and will now add a second season in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
