Together with his fellow countryman Éric Castonguay, Francis Perron will form Sierre's import-duo for the upcoming season. Over the course of his career, he mainly played in the AHL and the junior league QMJHL. Two years ago, he moved to Europe, where he joined Björklöven.
Over the past two seasons, he appeared in 77 games in the HockeyAllsvenskan, Sweden's second-highest league, in which he recorded 20 goals and 25 assists.
