HC La Chaux-de-Fonds has announced the extension of Sebastian Bengtsson. The 28-year-old Swedish forward was signed in mid-June by the Abeilles as an injury replacement for Sondre Olden, who had to undergo shoulder surgery and has yet to make his seasonal debut with HCC.
Bengtsson, who last season played in the EIHL with the Dundee Stars, is having quite the season with La Chaux-de-Fonds for the moment. In 17 games he collected 30 points, thus averaging 1.77 points per game. This ranks him second in the Swiss League, only behind EHC Olten's Garry Nunn (26 points in 13 games).
