EHC Olten's team manager Marc Grieder is happy about the continuity on the head coaching position: "Since Lars Leuenberger has been with EHC Olten, the entire organization has taken a big step forward. He has brought a winner mentality, the results speak for him."
Leuenberger has been EHCO's head coach since 2021. After reaching the playoff final, he last season, the 47-year-old has not had enough yet: "My mission in Olten is not yet accomplished," he says. "We are in the middle of a process that we want to continue together."
In the current season, EHC Olten has always been on top of the Swiss League. After 29 games, they sit in first place – with eight points more than second-placed HC La Chaux-de-Fonds and 20 points more than third-placed EHC Visp.
