The Board of Directors decided on Tuesday that the first team of EHC Winterthur would continue to play in the Swiss League. There are still two external decisions to be made. If the outcome of one were to be negative, they would, however, review the decision made yesterday.
Rolf Löhrer, the president of EHC Winterthur, told the Tages-Anzeiger in mid-December that they would like to stay in the Swiss League but only if it was financially feasible and there was a common perspective.
