The idea for the 20-year-old is to have him under contract with a different team, but with a B-licence in Biel.

Jérémie Bärtschi is currently without a team for next season as his contract with EHC Biel is running out. The National League club has plans for the forward though. As team manager Martin Steinegger tells the Journal du Jura, they would like Bärtschi to sign with a Swiss League team and then play for Biel on a B-licence.

The youngster has come up through Biel's youth department and made his first steps in men's hockey in 2019. Since then, he has made more and more games in either the National or the Swiss League each season.

Fellow youngster Darren Boss will be playing for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds coming season, as he already did four times this past one.
