Raffaele Sannitz, former player of HC Lugano and currently an assistant coach of HC Ambrì-Piotta's U20 squad, is expected to become the new head coach of the Bellinzona Rockets. Last season, the Rockets were led by Éric Landry. For his part, Diego Scandella has a long coaching experience, most recently within the Italian hockey federation.
As for the roster, the Corriere del Ticino also reports that the Rockets have signed two former players of HC Ambrì-Piotta: Patrick Incir and Noele Trisconi. The former already played for the GDT Bellinzona in the 1. League last season after five seasons with the Biancoblù, while Trisconi was let go by Ambrì at the end of this past season. However, as HeShootsHeScooores writes, Trisconi will not join the Rockets according to their information.
