The 52-year-old Finn joined EHC Olten only in mid-December when he stepped in for Scott Beattie. Leime then signed a contract until the end of the season and proved to be the right man for the job as he led EHC Olten to the NLB playoff-finals, where they were stopped by the SCL Tigers. (tme)

EHC Olten and head coach Heikki Leime agree on a two-year contract extension
NLB - The negotiations between EHC Olten and their head coach Heikki Leime have come to a good end. The two parties have agreed on a two-year contract extension. Heikki Leime will thus stay in Olten trough the 2016-17 season.
