Stefan Tschannen will stay with SC Langenthal at least until 2020. As the club announces, they have signed their captain to a three-year contract extension.

The 32-year-old left winger, whose contract would have expired in April next year, officially returned to SC Langenthal as of the 2010-11 season, after playing four consecutive years under contract with EHC Basel and EHC Biel in the NLA.

Along with teammates Jeff Campbell and Brent Kelly, Tschannen is one of club's most productive forwards. This season so far, he managed to put up eight goals and ten assists in a total of twelve games.
