Völlmin joined Langenthal last summer from Babson College, a NCAA III team. In 29 games for them so far, the 23-year-old forward has scored three goals and ten assists. Currently, the Swiss American, who will now stay until 2018, is sidelined by an adductor muscle strain and will not return to the lineup before SCL's game on January 6.

As for Silvan Hess, the 19-year-old forward has been with SC Langenthal's organisation since the U15 level. This season, he has appeared in 28 games for the NLB team, scoring two goals and two assists. He, too, will now stay with the team until 2019.
