Primeau, 26, has played for SC Langenthal these past two years and has scored 18 goals and 17 assists in 99 games for them thus far. The Zofinger Tagblatt had already revealed at the beginning of February that it would be difficult for Primeau to obtain a new deal with Langenthal. He will now stay with the Lakers until the end of the 2018-19 season.

Schmuckli, 23, is a product of EV Zug's organisation and mostly played for their NLB team, EVZ Academy, this season, scoring one goal and eleven assists in 43 games. The defenseman has signed a one-year contract with the Lakers.

As for Nico Gurnter, he is currently in his first season with the Lakers, but has only appeared in ten games (two assists) for them this year thus far due to injury. The 20-year-old defenseman will stay with the NLB team for another season.
