Yesterday, the Ajoulots announced that the HCB Ticino Rockets' Maxime Montandon and the EVZ Academy's Niklas Maurenbrecher could not join the team via B-license due to an administrative mistake. The 39-year-old Neiniger should now replace these two missing players.
Neininger, who played for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds until the end of last season, has appeared in 32 games for HC Saint-Imier of the First League this season, scoring 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists). Overall, the forward has played 860 NLB games in his career so far.
