The 36-year-old forward, who is currently in his second season with the Biancoblù, might thus play in the NLB as of the 2017-18 season. Bastl's contract will expire at the end of this season and, as La Regione had reported at the beginning of January, will -in all likeliness - leave HCAP.

The forward, who joined HC Ambrì-Piotta in 2015 from the ZSC Lions, has appeared in 25 games for the Biancoblù this season thus far and recorded two goals and three assists.
