The Board of Directors made the decision to let Plavsic and Strakov take over for the rest of the season. As Villars HC is done with their season, the two coaches were thus already available to the junior section of the team last week. Now, they will take on the task of leading the first team.
As for Kopitar, he was signed last February and had a valid contract for this season as well as an option for an additional season. Kopitar had been in charge of the Slovenian national team before he had joined Martigny Red Ice.
