The 52-year-old former defenseman has already been part of the Lions' organisation since 2014, serving as assistant coach of the Moskito-Top and, as of this season, as assistant coach for their Novizen Elite as well.
He, thus, takes over from Simon Schenk, who had worked for the ZSC Lions' organisation in various capacities since 1998 and had been responsible for the GCK Lions since 2006.
