Defensemen Romano Pargätzi, Simon Schnyder, and Roman Meister will all not receive a new contract. Also youngsters and forwards Paolo Morini and Ramón Diem have no more future with EHCO.

The same applies to Diego Schwarzenbach (photo). His contract, which would have been valid for one more season, has been terminated by mutual agreement. The 29-year-old winger will thus leave the club after eleven consecutive years with them.

Furthermore, as the club announces, also Curtis Gedig's contract has been dissolved. The 25-year-old Canadian defender joined the team from Norway's Stjernen last summer and managed to put up eleven goals and 26 assists in 38 games for them this term.

In view of the 2017-18 season, EHC Olten plans to start the season with two import players. Forward Justin Feser (CAN) still has a valid contract until 2018.
