EHC Olten announces that Simon Rytz has signed a three-year contract with them and will, therefore, leave the EHC Biel.

The 33-year-old goaltender will leave the Seelanders; they decided on a mutual agreement to dissolve their contract. Rytz, who used to be EHC Biel's number one goalie, lost his position due to last year's signing of former NHL goalie Jonas Hiller. He decided to take on a new challenge as he is still very ambitious. He believes that he found the perfect fit in Olten.

This season, Rytz appeared in two games for the Seelanders (.943 save percentage) and five games for SC Langenthal (.907 save percentage).
