As the Neue Zürcher Zeitung reports, HC Davos' head scout Bruno Aegerter will be EHC Visp's team manager as of the 2017-18 season. Aegerter will thus succeed Alex Kovalev.

The 61-year-old has been working as a scout for HC Davos since 2012. He is, of course, already familiar with Visp, as he used to coach the team from 2000 to 2005. As for his replacement in Davos, Gaudenz Domenig does not yet know who will succeed him, but the position will definitely be filled again.

In other news, Le Nouvelliste reports that EHC Visp might be able to count on two American forwards in the upcoming season, who currently "play in a North European championship". Sébastien Pico, however, was not willing to deny or confirm anything to the newspaper: "I do not confirm anything, we will say more in a couple of days."
