Swiss League

Forward Jérémy Gailland, who played for HC Sion-Nendaz 4 Vallées this past season, might return to the NLB once again. As L'Express-L'Impartial writes, the 29-year-old will receive a tryout with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds.

At the end of the 2015-16 season, Gailland had to leave Martigny Red Ice as they had not offered him a new contract. He thus chose to continue to play in the first league and clinched the first league title with HC Sion this past weekend. After just one season, Gailland could already leave the amateur league. First, however, he has to prove himself during this tryout in August.

Lausanne HC's Thomas Deruns, on the other hand, who had been in talks with La Chaux-de-Fonds, will not receive a contract offer from his youth team. Déruns's last deal with the Lions has expired and he thus has to look for another team.
