For the upcoming season, NLB champion SC Langenthal signs Patrick Schommer (photo), Tom Kohler, and Luca Christen to one-year contracts. In addition, defender Philip Åhlström signs a two-year extension.

Forward Patrick Schommer, 27, joins Langenthal from Martigny Red Ice. For the Valaisans, the former player of HC Davos and the ZSC Lions put up 24 points (nine goals) over the course of the past season.

In addition to Schommer, the two defensemen Tom Kohler, 23, and Luca Christen, 18, join the team. Kohler, a Swiss-Canadian, most recently played for the University of Guelph in Canada. Christen has been part of the SCL Tigers' Elite-A team, but already played six games with Langenthal this past season.

Moreover, SC Langenthal also announces that the 21-year-old defenseman Philip Åhlström will stay with them for two more years. The Swiss-Swedish dual citizen has already been a part of SCL for two years now.
