At the end of February, Russian investor Andrey Nazheskin announced that he would sell his shares. Afterward, there were several reports of outstanding salaries in Martigny. The club confirmed these financial difficulties at the end of March. At the same time, they announced that they were negotiating with a new local investor.

Now, it appears that a new investor is willing to buy the shares of Nazheskin and president Mike Echenard. The parties have been negotiating for several weeks. However, this deal has yet to be finalized, as Le Nouvelliste emphasizes.
