EHC Olten's Czech forward Jiří Polanský is about to return to HC Oceláři Třinec. "It looks as if our ways will part," EHC Olten's media spokesman Pierre Hagmann confirms to the Aargauer Zeitung. 35-year-old Polanský, who played on loan for EHCO last season, still has a valid contract in Třinec. It looks like the Czech team wants him to return for the upcoming term.

However, EHC Olten is already working hard to sign another import-forward for the upcoming season. Although they keep his name in the dark, the Aargauer Zeitung writes that it is an American forward who has both NHL- and KHL-experience. Moreover, he can play as center or winger. EHC Olten hopes that they will come to an agreement in the upcoming days.
