At the end of March, La Liberté's Pierre Schouwey wrote that Maret would have to find a new team for the upcoming season. Now, the 25-year-old defenseman has found a new employer and will suit up for the Ajoulots next season.
This past term, Maret appeared in 28 games for the Dragons, scoring three points (one goal, two assists). In addition, he played four games for Martigny Red Ice via B-license and registered two points (one goal, one assist).
