Over the course of the past season, the Lakers generated a profit of roughly CHF 230,000. This is quite a step up from last year when they had to present a loss of CHF 434,000 to their shareholders. Now, they can show positive numbers at the general assembly on August 22.

The main reason for the improvement was the release of hidden reserves (resources which were not listed on the balance sheet). However, the Lakers were also able to pass on services and costs to the newly founded Lakers Nachwuchs AG and the Lido Catering GmbH (+CHF 441,000) and to generate more money from ticket sales (+CHF 225,000).
