Diem had been trying out for the Lions since the beginning of August. The 22-year-old forward last played for EHC Olten, scoring five goals and 16 assists in 43 games for them.
The club also informs that Pascal Blaser, who signed his first professional contract with HC Davos in April, will practice with HCT until next weekend, as he will not be in the lineup for HCD's CHL games.
