The 28-year-old defenseman's tryout contract ended with yesterday's pre-season game against HC Thurgau. While Girardin will not get signed, for now, HC Ajoie might consider agreeing to terms with him if they should be in need of a defender at some point during the season.
Last season, Girardin played 39 games for Martigny Red Ice, scoring two goals and ten assists.
