The San Jose Sharks have reduced their training camp roster by ten players today, including Noah Rod. The youngster will return to Switzerland and continue playing for Genève-Servette HC.

The 21-year-old forward had already told Le Matin in an interview in May that he would return to GSHC if it did not work out with the NHL this year, as the level of the National League would be better for his development than the one of the AHL.

The San Jose Sharks' 2014 second round draft pick, who was signed to an entry-level contract back in March this year, suited up in 31 games for GSHC (five goals, nine assists) as well as seven games for the Sharks' AHL affiliate San Jose Barracuda last term (one assist).
