After the Devils with Nico Hischier and Mirco Müller on board play the exhibition game in Switzerland and Edmonton goes Germany, the four NHL teams, namely the Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils, Winnipeg Jets and Florida Panthers, will open the new season in Sweden and Finland

In Switzerland, due to capacity reasons, there are only two places that can host such a game: the PostFinance Arena in Bern (17,031) and the Hallenstadion in Zürich (11,200). ZSC's CEO Peter Zahner recently confirmed that both the Lions an SC Bern are in talks with the NHL about a potential exhibition game. When approached by the Blick today asking whether the ZSC Lions will face the Devils, however, Zahner replied with a "No", while SC Bern did not want to comment it.
