Because their starting netminder, John Gibson, sustained a lower-body injury, the Anaheim Ducks have recalled goaltender Reto Berra from their AHL affiliate, the San Diego Gulls.

This is the third time the Ducks have recalled the 31-year-old this season. He has played five games for Anaheim so far, posting a .926 save percentage along with a 2.31 goals-against average. With the Gulls, he holds a 2.72 goals against average and a .919 save percentage over the span of 19 games.
