The San Jose Sharks and Vincent Praplan have agreed to terms. The forward has signed a standard, entry-level deal with the NHL team.

Praplan now has a valid contract in place with the Sharks for the 2018-19 season. He already participated in the Sharks' prospect tournament in 2017 and was invited to the main camp but then rejected the invitation as he wanted to focus on his season with EHC Kloten.

The 23-year-old was never drafted but has now found his way into an NHL organization. In 45 games for Kloten this season, he has recorded 15 goals and 24 assists.
