National Hockey League

According to hockeynews.se and Chris Johnston (Sportsnet), the Anaheim Ducks will soon announce their signing of Anton Rödin. He will thus leave HC Davos.

Rödin would have had one year left on his deal with Davos, but apparently, he was in possession of an NHL out clause. Rödin joined Davos in late-November, after clearing unconditional waivers. He had been part of the Vancouver Canucks' organization but injuries kept him out of the lineup for a lot of his time there.

He only appeared in eight regular-season games for Davos last season, as he suffered a fibula fracture only two weeks after signing with the National League team. He then returned for the playoffs, recording three goals and four assists in six games.
