HC Ambrì-Piotta will be able to count on Fora once again. He will return to the Biancoblù. His old contract with them is still in force. The agreement is valid until the end of the 2020-21 season and includes an NHL out clause.

In an interview with HeShootsHeScoores.com/duca-discuteremo-con-fora-le-sue-idee-sul-futuro-tanti-gli-elementi-da-considerare/" title="">HeShootsHeScores, the team manager of Fora's club in Switzerland, Paolo Duca, mentioned that they had always been in contact with the 22-year-old former captain of HC Ambrì-Piotta after his departure to North America.

«Michael is one of us»
Paolo Duca

The team manager speaks of the different dynamics in the NHL, how other factors than just on-ice performance may impact decisions made by clubs there. He adds that "He practiced with us during the summer and we followed him because Michael is one of us and connected to our reality".

Fora only played one game for the Hurricanes' AHL-affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, before going through the process of contract termination, which now has been completed, as CapFriendly reports.
