Jack Hughes or Kaapo Kakko - that is the main question asked prior to the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. A different, less prominent question will also be answered at the draft-weekend on June 21 and 22 in Vancouver. How will Nando Eggenberger's career continue?
Ranked at position 127 on the list of North American skaters (due to playing for the OHL's Oshawa Generals), there is a chance that the 19-year-old will be picked by a team.
"Of course this dream of the NHL is in the back of my mind. Nonetheless, I primarily have to work on myself and take it as it comes", Eggenberger says to the Bündner Tagblatt. As the newspaper writes, it might be possible that the forward returns to HC Davos, the team he played for before heading overseas.
