National Hockey League

The SC Bern-forward is thus likely to miss the start of the National League season.

A few weeks in North America ahead: Tristan Scherwey

The Ottawa Senators have invited Scherwey to their training camp, which will kick off on September 8. The Swiss forward will remain with the NHL-organization for a maximum of three weeks. He will presumably miss the first few games of the season with the Bears.

Scherwey's contract contains an NHL-out clause for summer 2020 and one that allows him to attend a training camp this fall.

In 62 games for Bern last season, the 28-year-old recorded 15 goals and 22 assists. He has been with SCB for his whole professional career and made his National League debut for them in 2009.
