The 29-year-old defender, who is still without a new contract for the 2019-20 season, is currently practicing with the Islanders.

As Arthur Staple from The Athletic reports, Sbisa was seen on the ice for the Islanders' pre-camp skate today. And, according to Staple, there may be some chances for him to attend the training camp on a professional tryout contract (PTO) similar to one year ago.

Sbisa was part of the New York Islanders last season (one-year deal worth $1.5 million) but only appeared in a total of nine NHL games for them, in which he was able to record one assist.
