Daniel Carr joined HC Lugano from the organization of the Nashville Predators on a short-term contract at the beginning of September. With the NHL's free agency window opening a few days ago, the forward agreed to a deal with the Washington Capitals.
Due to the season overseas not set to start for another few months, the NHL-club has loaned the 28-year-old back to the Bianconeri. They however have the option to call him up once their season kicks off.
In four games with Lugano so far, Carr has put up two goals and one assist, while averaging a bit over 19 minutes of time on ice.
