After no Swiss players were selected in the 2020 Entry Draft, eight prospects have made the "20-21 Preliminary Players To Watch List".

NHL Central Scouting lists two Swiss prospects, Noah Meier of GCK Lions and Lorenzo Canonica of QMJHL's Shawinigan Cataractes as having the potential for selected in the 2nd or 3rd round. The other six are projected to be 4th to 7th round picks. The Central Scouting Services will update their list as the year progresses and the players can be evaluated more thoroughly.

  • Simon Knak, HC Davos (Portland Winterhawks, WHL)

The 2021 NHL Entry Draft was originally scheduled to happen in June, however as the 2020-21 NHL season has not yet been scheduled, it is unclear when the draft will actually take place.
